Does Volume Matters in Trading?

We all know that in trading, volume is everything. It tells a story when combined with price action. It is used in many indicators that we all know. We also know that a trend (rally) without volume ain't gonna last long. And many a times, a price spike with low volume are due to people or instituitions trying to manipulate the market. They probably can sustain the move for a short while due to their financial clout but nonetheless, if the masses don't follow through with the right volume, they're gonna fail miserably.

So.... if someone tells you volume ain't important, they're just bullshitting.

An example of low volume

An example of High volume

Hey bro,

Poor analogy leh because the mainstream media has always been the broadcast station for the PAP and they have so much exposure that people already know what they stand for. No mystery.

WP however, has some really excellent PR and mass communication management this time around. Well timed to whet the appetite of viewers.

Actually, the volume of rallys have always been imbalanced and showing the same trend all this while. So I don't think it really means anything. The vote count analysis however would mean a lot more.

I think I like the WP for all the diversity it provides, but I'm still for the ones who has clear direction, plans and the system.

Strange.. shouldn't media coverage be distributed evenly... Seems very much that our country falls under the "v for Vendetta" setting.

"Repression, Sir is a habit that grows. I am told it is like making love-it is always easier the second time! The first time there may be pangs of conscience, a sense of guilt. But once embarked on this course with constant repetition you get more and more brazen in the attack. All you have to do is to dissolve organizations and societies and banish and detain the key political workers in these societies. Then miraculously everything is tranquil on the surface. Then an intimidated press and the government-controlled radio together can regularly sing your praises, and slowly and steadily the people are made to forget the evil things that have already been done, or if these things are referred to again they're conveniently distorted and distorted with impunity, because there will be no opposition to contradict."

Guess whoever says the above.

Well... at least the counts seems to have indicated that the trends are reversing.

If clear directions, plans and systems refers to harping on the issues of "submitting forms" through out the whole campaign, i'll rather stick with diversity.

should never be restored!
